i have a distributer from a brazilian engine that appears to be a pointless ignition system, not petronics or compufire it appears to be new?this came off of a nearly new engine that was a industial? engine so i was told.the heads have 1 less fin than german ones and the cylinders have 1 more fin to offset the missing ones in the head?very strange the engine was nearly new had a spun rod bearing, weird rods definitly nor german type.the engine case was a single relief case.i can send pics if anybody knows anything about this engine.i was told it ran onlp or natural gas i have the carb? for it too. my questions are is this type of distribiture a good one?are those heads usable?is the case a usable one?.....................thanks ...james

The ignition curve of an industrial engine would very likely be wrong for a car, as the industrial engines operates over a very narow rpm range.
