Anyone know where I can view/download exploded diagrams for Kadron carbs? If they are not exploded, I can do it myself - got some M-80's in Tijuana last year.

This any help?
Nope. That isn't a Kadron.

This then? (shooting in the dark...)
You got it! (Nice shot!)

Yup, that's it. Don't carb manufacturers have parts diagrams online? Who the heck makes this Kadron carb? Do they have a web presence?
Many of the parts are stamped "Solex," so I am somewhat confused.
Kadrons aren't crap.
But the linkage is, ah, questionable.
Iffy linkage? What's good?
No olli, you are way off. What you showed is the Solex dual throat carb, similar to Dellorto DRLA and Weber IDF.
Kadrons are single throat 40mm carbs. Solexes, yes.

That looks JUST like the Solex/Brosol carbs WE get when we buy the "modern" Kadron kit from KK. The American Kqadron kits don't have chokes, these "Super Solexes" do. I have these.

Berg makes a good linkage for the Kads. I'm also working on a light-weight all-cable linkage. Stay tuned.

Oh, you /bastard!/ I wish these Kadrons had chokes!!!
Keep us posted.
I have Kadron exhaust in my bug, one I bought in Curitiva. Brasil last year... I searched high and low for the kadron factory or even a wholesaler and I failed... and I was in brasil and speak some portuguese!
You wouldn't need them really. I know I don't. (Then again I don't drive the aircooleds in the winter).

"The Kadron Kit" consists of Solex carburators, specially made intake manifolds, linkage, and air cleaners to be fitted into a VW beetle.
The way I see it, there are no Kadron brand carburators.
