Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can locate a replacment cable that actuates the heater flap at the drivers' and passengers' feet - I have a 73 superbeetle. I see the cable housing which runs under the carpets and have pulled out my old broken cable from it.
I thought I could use the heater cables which go to the exchangers but they are way too short.
If anyone could help................

Though I wonder if the wire will be stiff enough - to do the old pull and push through the cable - hmmm may work. May be a little tricky though to hook two wires to the control lever without the weird little doohicky thing that connects into the hole of the lever handle.
This is food for thought though -

Yeah, and I've used it on the cables to the heater boxes. Joined the 2 cables using a crimp connector (ring) terminal lug. Get a nice stainless wire and it'll be stiffer than a teenager's ....
