..............Thank you Dave. I've got the fuel injector pages printed out. Those pics and the text with them will come in very handy next time I pull my engine.

.......What's your source for those injector seals? With a Bosch part no., I'd think that Autozone could get them.

BTW.......Do type 1 and type 4 Jetronic engines use the same seal? I have some old but never used waterboxer injector seals.........maybe the same as well?

I don't know, Tim. I think that there are differences in jet sizes in a series and that all in the series use the same seals and donuts, but where that got into my head I don't remember. It may have been something I invented and placed there to srew things up at some later date! I think it came from people using larger jetted injectors of the same series as an alternative to raising rail pressure, or combining the two for still greater fuel flow. Whether I saw it in a parts listing or assumed that since it worked to do that, the parts must be interchangeable...(?)

It's sure nice to finally have a fast enough computer and broadband to really make this photo stuff fly! Someday I'll have to make a website!
