I hope you realize my post was 99.9% a joke. The .1% part that was not a joke is that I really am (from what I'm told) 1/16 American Indian, apparently "Creek" tribe from the 30 minutes I've put into "researching" it. I recently exchanged email with my dad to find out the tribe name and percentage thingie just because my older sister brought up the topic and I was curious. Believe me, I do NOT dwell on it. When I married my wife she had 3 children with her first husband (who still live with us and will continute to do so until the day they turn 18...;-) who was some % Indian that I don't even care about. She brought up the subject of getting some kind of government assistance for the kids in school because of their "heritage" that they (and I) know NOTHING about. My opinion on that is BULLSHIT. Too late for excuses. BULLSHIT. Time to move on. If you need to rely on your heritage in any way to succeed, then you'll never truly succeed. That's my opinion.
