Joao, I'm sure you know that Ford named some of its cars after horses. Mustang, Bronco, etc. The Pinto (Spanish=painted) was named after a spirited pony of the West with blotches of color. The POS Pinto car unfortunately had neither (color nor spirit).
As for chickens, America's greatest layer is the Rhode Island Red.
