parts hunt?

Question

Could use a little help from all you experts out there. Owned a bug back in 82 and just bought a 1967 that needs a little finishing work. Some kid had a project car and then got his girlfriend pregnant, got married, then bought a house. He had no money left to finish the job. It's all running and body work and paint are great. It's all the little missing parts that are the headache.

Currently, I'm hunting for a windshield wiper motor for a 1967 bug? Can't seem to find them anywhere? Did they have a different motor for one year?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to get a lot of work done over the holidays.

I have bought parts from Mario. He is fair and delivers on his word when it comes to selling parts. There are stories and personal testimonials on RAMVA about him peforming work and paying suppliers but when it comes to parting out, I would not hesitate to work with him.
