Pulling Dellorto port plugs

Not shure without looking in my Dellorto manual, but are you shure that is the bypass and not idle mixture?? Most likely the screw is there, behind the plug, meant as an anti tamper device on a stock setup to not screw with emissions. On the other hand, if your carbs where bought as aftermarket tuning units it would not make much sence....

After reading your post with regards to the anti-tamper device. I checked for a screw by sticking a needle into the bypass port from within the barrel, seems that the screw is there! I'll just carefully pull the plug. Thanks very much for the insight!! :D

These carbs were originally off of an Alfa so that's probably why the plugs were in place.
