I am restoring my 79 vert and want to replace all the bushings with the

I've seen those in an older BUG PACK book..............They sell urethane ones for all kinds of VW's............evn Watercooled.

Someone here at Ramva drew up this picture of a method to remove the bushings without a press:

*think* it was Funkie that made that drawing ... but if it is somebodyelse's image and you want me to remove it from my picture site, let me know. Both Topline and AC.net have the two piece type that do not have to be pressed in.

I have not actually done this procedure yet myself ... so you may want to wait for someone that knows what they're talking about to reply.
