No kidding, thought 73 and up had curved windshields....and didja see the way that thing lists in the rear....I bet that thing is down right horrifying in anything but a straight line....talk about trailing throttle oversteer....

Looks like it's just an engine (condition unknown) and adapter thrown into the Bug. Horrible, but certainly worth $800. :)

It's SUPER because its SUPER powered! I don't see any signs of a radiator, or hoses. There is no exhaust other than the manifold. I'll bet this conversion turned out to be too much work for some wannabe riceboy and it's unfinished, hence the lack of (or wrong)info.

In the US they did (well, from August 1972!). However, the rest of the world also had the option of the torsion bar model as well, but with smaller engine size (12-1300). It could always be an import...

Likewise here....Beetle for sale in my area....73 vert.....no brakes, seized motor, rotted framehead, bad 1/4s, etc.....an economical $1800.....
