A little too subtle for me. Can you point out the mods, please? ;-)

You know, when people floor it past me on the highway doing 90' and go out of their way to make me know that I am only doing the speed limit in my 68', I sometimes wish my Bug was a four wheel drive monster truck so I could drive over their gas hoggy, top heavy, SUV!

But maybe I am just being bitter. No, I think driving over a few cars in a Bug would probably be quite gratifying.

It's the rectangular headlight conversion. Are you blind?

There's something else there, though, that I just can't put my finger on.

About 8 miles frm my house there is a full stop on a slight incline. This morning there was a gravel truck sitting there unable to get moving again. Both drive axels were just spinning slowly. Not enough traction. I finally had to pull out and go around him.

The SUVs generally wind up off the road when they aren't careful. On any icy morning they can be observed climbing carefully up the embankments. Unless they fell over on the way down, of course. And they don't seem to stop worth a damn, ABS notwithstanding.

It's is not, it isn't ain't, and it's it's, not its, if you mean it is. If you don't, it's its. Then too, it's hers. It isn't her's. It isn't our's either. It's ours, and likewise yours and theirs. -- Oxford University Press, Edpress News

this one is pure fun though....not streetable...but wins *every* "mugbog" it enters...first run ever he placed first with a 200+ foot run...second place was less than 50feet(can't recall exact distance on the second place truck)... JT

There's a little vent thingy attached to the roof right over the windshield, maybe that's it. He shaved off the blinkers too, wonder why you'd do that.. doesn't it ruin the street legal-ness?

I know what you mean Max, But I don't think that is the fault of the SUV. I think you will find that that is the fault of the SUV driver. Most of them have never driven anything bigger than a compact car. They are constantly overdriving these SUV's thinking that these rigs are the beesknees and the answer to all the driving whoas. Unfortunately, they never figure out how to drive them right. I see it everytime it snows here. I am cruising down the freeway at the blazing speed of 30mph in my big F350 4X4, when JoeDriver passes me doing 70 or 80. But I always catch up, cause they always find out that going good in the snow does not mean stopping good in the snow. Live and Learn I guess......*8-}
