And there's no way a stock '64 1200 SP could do over 60 mph!
That's silly officer, this car is stock!

You bet. Years ago I had a new 63' and it was a pleasure to put the speedometer in those positions (of course I was 17 at the time). Dennis
Running low on fuel, or gauge not working? I seem to remember getting the needle past the 6 o'clock position going down a looong hill with my -56 T1, but I think the speedo scale stopped at
120 km/h..J.
easy now...judging by the vibration the camera picked up she's wound up pretty tight at that point...
I was just reading that supposedly the 1955 model could do 71mph with a 34hp engine. Weren't those 1100cc engines?

I was almost out of gas. That's why I was in such a hurry so I could get to the station before I ran out. ;-)
I got pulled over years ago and the cop was trying to tell me I was doing 75mph up a hill in my 59 bug. Took me awhile but I was finally able to convice her that it was impossible.
