the great ghia engine tarboard mystery - 1 question still unresolved

regarding ghia factory-original engine compartment tarboard, right rear (passenger side) fender:

would someone please tell me, on a STANDARD SHIFT karman ghia:

are the two notches (labeled "N-1" and N-2" in this picture) present on =4=speed= ghia's? or are they "not present"?

thanks in advance :-)

They must be for auto stick... My manual tranny Ghia doesn't have any of those oval holes.

aww, jeeze, mel, sorry but I wasn't ASKING about "oval holes". I asked about the notches on the EDGE of the tarboard (as stated earlier, they're labeled N-1 and N-2 in the photo). this is pretty simple, really: are the two edge notches N-1 & N-2 present or NOT present on

4 speed ghia right-rear tarboards? does anybody know?

if present, check here:

if they're NOT present, check here:

---thanks very much to all, optional 'extra credit' questions below:---

if "answers above are guesses" check here:

if "too tired to look", check here:

if "sheesh, I haven't seen any intact ORIGINAL tiele tarboards in, uhh, 25 yrs or so" check here:

Adding to your list:

If present and think you're coming off as an unappreciative asshole then check here: ***CHECK*** Looked to me like Mel was trying to help. You get what you pay for (and usually more) out here, pal. If it's so simple then why don't you already know the answer to your question? That's what I thought. Move along! Nothing to see here!
