To Weld or To Braze???? Hmmmmm

What would be the best way to fix the header on my bug? The pipe broke at the mounting flange on the header side not the muffler side. I am leaning toward welding but if brazing is better, I want to know.

.....................Exhaust systems need to be welded.

If it's to thin to be welded it will need to be replaced. Or not :-)
