We are going to sell a '74 Type 1. It has a fairly new 1600DP, new seat covers, good body but bad paint, etc. I'd like a rough idea of what I should ask for it. Thanks.

The NADA Guide, shows a 74 Type 1 in the condition you describe to be worth. around $1,725.
Higher in the rust belt, lower in the southwest.
