What is "fweem"?

Hi All,

I've seen mentions to this adjective used to describe the sound of an air-cooled volkswagen engine. But what is a good fweem?

Any sound bytes out there on the 'net to help me 'grok' this term?

Funny, I've always wondered this, and I always assumed that it was an onomatopoeic term regarding the noise of a high speed bug, but never knew for sure. If you go to the samba dictionary of aircooled terms

formatting link
you'll find:Fweem - The beautiful sound of a aircooled Volkswagen as it drives by. The noise of a Volkswagen muffler, a high pitched chirp.now we know.
