timing is set on engine but engine is kicking back on starter when i try to start the engine what could cause this ?

I suspect the spark plug leads are not in the right locations. Is that possible, that they were off and no longer in the correct order?

Mike

Or the timing belt is off by a tooth or two.

Bob

Are the plug wires in the wrong order? It's a bit confusing due to the design of the distributor cap.
