Hi If the AC compressor is little noisy and make small vibrations, it is possible that the cause is an ecessive or almost insufficient charge of the AC system?

Probably bearings going out on the compressor, but it depends on the unit.
most likely mine only lasted 5 years after the noises began even then it was second hand when I brought it with the noise .It cost me $300 AU to replace it with a charged up second hand compressor .Note not the squillions Volvo will ask for the job .
