For example, for your car (assuming it's a non-turbo) they list 5 different fuel pump manufacturers with prices ranging from $55 USD for the Airtex to $173USD for the Bosch.

See if you can track one of the listed manufacturers down yourself and get a cheaper part.

That sounds about right for a new one, you can probably save some money if you mail order a pump though or if you can find a low mileage used one at a wrecking yard. Those pumps are dang expensive, it's a good thing they normally last a while.

You can get a Walbro in-tank for about 80 CDN$, which will take care of the in-tank AND the pump under the drivers seat. The Bosch under seat pump will become a restriction after you install the Walbro, so it can be removed altogether. The walbro part number is GSS340

The P/N is FPG003 (a universal GM pump)- $108

This pump is a 255lph High Pressure pump.

There's a little fussing about to make it work, but you will save a ton of cash in using this upgrade, and you'll never have to worry about installing another Bosch secondary pump again. This is a very popular upgrade over here in N.A, and if you go to turbobricks.org or brickboard.com and do a search, you will find plenty of info on how to do it.
