Hi, anyone any idea where the glowplug relay is located in the 940 diesel ? (VW 6 cylinder) TIA

Yes, right up front behind the battery on the front of the inner wing. It should say in the handbook and is covered in one of the Chiltons and the Haynes.

Sorry about that, please disregard reference to Haynes. The earlier Chilton manual does have diesel reference.
