I have just purchased cheaply an M reg Volvo 440 Li, hoping it will act as a stopgap for the next six months. There is no owner's manual, and the person I bought it from was selling it on behalf of his daughter who lives in another part of the country, so no info available there.
The control stick comes out of the steering wheel on the RH side, and there is a slider dood-dad with a wiper symbol at each end. There is also a little grey button in the end of the control stick. When I press this it activates the rear wiper and washer. When I toggle the stick back and forth, it wipes the windscreen. But I can't figure out how to wash the windscreen, or activate the headlamp wipers.
Any ideas?
