Suspension

Hi all

I am running a 95 Volvo 460 2.0 CD. The problem that I am having is that every time I go over a speed bump, the car scraps them. I am knackering up the exhaust and underside of the car. The car has been into the garage and they can't find anything wrong with the suspension.

Has anyone got any ideas on how I can solve this problem?

Many thanks

Phill

Sue your local council for having ridiculously oversized speedbumps, or make sure you have tyres on those wheels.

Stuart.

Most likely to be springs/shockers getting weak and in need of replacement.

Cheers, Peter.

Is on of the rubbers holding the exhaust pip up broken?

Are they all there?

Legally speed bumps can be no more than 10cm hiegher than the road surface. What hangs low under you car?
