My new V50 has a minute but irritating rattle inside the door pillar immediately behind the driver's ear. I guess it is the seat belt. Has any one had this and had it fixed? I don't want the garage to start messing about with the pillar lining if it can't be fixed.

Have you heard back on this? I just bought a used 2007 V50 T5 AWD and it also has this rattle. I only notice it at 60mph+, though. Is that when you notice it? Thanks for any help. I'll pass along anything else I find out.

Would this noise be like a pair of pigeons carrying on (sort of coo-ing noise), when the car run over the odd bump. I have a 2007 V50 and have this noise, which I've been led to believe (from a posting elsewhere) may be the rear door seals moving against the body, as the door frame flexes. Pushing on the tops of the doors when stationary gives a similar noise. The cure mentioned was silicone spray, but I haven't tried this.
