14" tires

I am looking to replace some summer tires on my Golf. They need to be

14" and that is the real problem because the selection isn't too good. I would like a good to excellent handling tire that I will get about
30,000 miles out of that does not cost an arm and a leg. any thoughts? thanx, andy

People say good things about the Dunlop D60 A2. I like the SP8000 and they only cost one arm. 195/55/14. Got mine at America's Tire/Discount Tire. Good service.

I'm on my second set of SP8000 tires and they're awesome. They stick like glue, never squeal in turns, and don't hydroplane in the rain (ever tire I've had on my GTI has hydroplaned in the past except for my Dunlop SP8000s).
