My father has a problem with his 2000 TDI. I used my VAG-COM to find the DTC code as follows:
Address 01: Engine Labels: 038-906-012.LBL Part No: 038 906 012 BD Component: 1,9l R4 EDC G000AG 2507 Coding: 00001 Shop #: WSC 00066
1 Fault Found:
16764 - Glow Plug/Heater (Q6) Circuit: Malfunction P0380 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent Readiness: 1 1 0 0 0
The Part No: 038 906 012 BD is the ECM/ECU. However it is pointing to the glow plug heater circuit. Is this the infamous R109 relay control module?
