i'm looking for a speedometer assembly for my 85 jetta diesel. i can' t seem to find one anywhere. does anyone out there know where i can get one? i'm also looking for an a/c bypass pulley. any help with this would be much appreciated.

If they don't have it,. no one will.
What is so different with the "speedometer" of the gas models? Or do you need everything......like the entire cluster? I vote if you only need a speedo............just change the speedo or repair yours! ;-)
i don't know if there is a difference between the gas and the diesel models. but i do need the whole cluster. the reason i need it is actually because the odometers bad because of a worn out gear. i just figured it would be easier to find the cluster then it would that one gear. but i may find something that will work for it. thanks for the reply.
Odometer problem huh? You can probably find the gear. Maybe even a metal one too. Here is one write-up here

I have found some of those plastic gears with cracks in them, so a new one is required.
