Back in November I purchased my first A2, and 89 Jetta manufactured in Germany. It was a project to say the least. I did most of the work before XMAS but ran out of money. Well yesterday our tax refund came in so it was time to get the Jetta on the road.
Put all of the remaining pieces on last night and went for a test drive. Did great, is an absolute ball to drive, and was faster than my '96 Golf GL.
Today I spent all today with it tidying up all last minute issues and mostly just driving it and enjoying it.
This is my 10th VW and boy I wish I would have bought an A2 sooner....
