I have a 96 Jetta GLX (VR6) and the 01M automatic transmission. Anyone know what the "limp home" mode is? I saw it mentioned in the Bentley manual, but nowhere does it actually say what this mode is, what it feels like, or when it would occur.
Anyone know?
