Can anyone suggest a good CANADIAN parts source? I have a 92 Jetta, and would love to get parts from somewhere besides a dealer. Too pricey.

What do you mean by good? I buy most things from the local good old Canadian Tire. Look in the Yellow Pages under Automobile--Wreckers. If you're in Toronto, look up a place called "The Source". They wreck VW only and have GREAT prices. Tell Michael that Darryl sent you ;)
Darryl.
I dunno any around Winnipeg. There is a good supplier in the Toronto area called Frisco. Call them at 416-736-9595 and find out if they have any connections out your way or if they ship for a reasonable amount.
If in the Vancouver area, try:
VM Autohaus, 4407 Juneau, Burnaby, BC. Tel: 604-298-9637 (near Willingdon and Lougheed Hwy in Burnaby).
A family run operation, they carry genuine VW & Audi parts at good prices. Don't know if they do mail order though. There hasn't been a part too obscure for VM to either have in stock or to bring in. Often they give you a choice--genuine OEM or aftermarket.
