I purchased a 2001 glx jetta and it has a auto trans. How hard would it be to replace it with a manual tranny? Could i use a Audi TT transmission and have AWD? Is there any place in the Tri state area that can do this?

Best bet would be to sell it and buy what you want.
The cost and effort and possible problems is just not worth it when you can buy what you want to start with.
It's real easy just trade the car and purchased an Audi or VW-manual. But then again just about anything can be done with enough $$$$$!
