( I hate to do it, but it's not practical for me. The only thing I changed were clear side markers and I installed a Kenwood CD Player (MP3 CD's). Garaged kept and I don't drive it in the snow (salt). I have a daily driver I take to work. Well babied at 18k+ Miles. Dealer Maintained.

No flame intended Texas parts guy, but where have you been? Although there are some cosmetic upgrades involved in this edition; the brakes, wheels and suspension add slightly improved handling over the stock GTI. They also have a six speed transmission. I bought one in October of 2003 with 13xxx miles for $17500 and it's great car for the money. Last year VW brought out a similar model the 20th Anniversary Edition. It's basically the same as the
337, but with sunroof and limited colors.

With all the new models coming through these days, it's hard to keep up. And I get the Canadiandriver emails, don't have time to read them all. My interests are not restricted just to VWs, although I have two. Texas Parts Guy
