Great dealer I have!

The past weekend I damaged my front end avoiding a car. Rim was mangled, tie rods, control arms, joints... everything was destroyed when I slammed into a curb (managed to avoid the car tho :-) ).

Took it to the dealer (Georgetown Volkswagen) for repairs, as opposed to my independant Audi (and VW) mechanic, which was too far to make it with the cripled car. Took the car in Saturday got it back today. Found out he discounted every part on the car, and got me a brand new alloy rim for $125, instead of the full price of $415 (or a used rim for $300... there were leads of a $75 used rim this week, but the rim was almost as bad as mine was... the owner thought it was fine). Car repair was still a hefty $2170cnd (679.00 in labour... he even discounted the flat rate hour charge from 78.50 an hour to 67.90 an hour!)

They tried to save me more money by trying my old parts to see if they were still okay, but it couldn't align with the old stuff, it was all slightly out.

I am quite happy that this dealership today, I would recommend them to anyone as a good place to buy and service a VW, we have never had a problem from them, only goodness.
