VW Has extended the MAF Sensor warranty for TDI engines to 7 years/115,000 kms. If you have had a MAF replaced, contact VW for reimbursement. To the best of my knowledge, this only applies in Canada presently.

Volkswagen is going to evaluate each customer on a case by case basis. Write to VW Canada and request reimbursement.

IOW, if you don't ask, you won't get.
It was my dad's money... i'll let him figure it out, if the MAF breaks under my use of the car then i'll call em' up.
