VW transporter 1989 clutch

Nov 08, 2003 1 Replies

The hydraulic tube to the clutch broke. It consists of 2 parts: a steel tube and after that a plastic tube.

Is it OK to use copper tube all the way ?

I guess this will be much easier.

OK, I just took apart another vw-transporter.

There is also a plastic tube before the steel-tube.

The plastic tube is transperant. The screws at the end of the steel-tubes is of a larger diameter than the braking-tubes.

How to fix this clutch hydralic pipe ?
