I had to bypass the switch by putting a toggle swith in and wiring it to the pump. Any thoughts on how to get the OEM one working again. Its inside the column somewhere.......
Although the toggle impresses my buddies, chicks think it is pretty lame! ;)

Yep replace it. Remove the steering wheel and plastic covers to get to the switches. The wiper and turn signal switches come off as one and then separate them.
