Friend has 2004 Silverado. AC has control for each side of cab. The left side and the speedometer will quit working at same time and hot air comes out of left side vents. It's an 8 cyl, ext. cab. 42 k miles and 2wd. Warrantee is out but still on for this problem as it has been ongoing....he has had it back to dealer 5 times with no fix. This is an intermittant problem. Taking it back in on Monday for the 6 time. Once it does this, it will not resume normal operation until the truck is shut down for a few minutes....anyone know of a fix so he can tell the dealership what to do????????(he is a lifetime Chevy man, but fed up to put it litely) Thanks, Pete
