Nova Update

Not sure if modification posts are allowed any more, but I'm bored so what the hell....

Been fettling with the Nova today. We've now spent a grand total of £35 on bits and I think she's looking much better.

Few more bits to do, but quite happy with the overall look. Covering up the rusty valance with the deeper spoiler has transformed the look of the front.

Oh, and the BX is broken again. Stupid bloody car.

Re: the Nova. Cheap bleed valve, wind the boost up, and bolt a massive FMIC on it. YKIMS :-D

I saw a wee little Astra TD intercooler on the bay the other day, and was tempted :) Think a massive one may be a bit OTT with the weeny turbo it's got!

Massive turbo. YKIMEMS :-p.

I think the engine may have trouble turning something any bigger :)

Fit them in series. Small turbo to help the 'big yin' spool ;-) YKIMFS.

If I wanted more power (which I dont, coz it's not mine!!) I'd go for the bigger version of the same engine to start with (1.7 instead of 1.5). But it's got more than enough grunt for what it's used for so I'd rather spend money on my cars :)
