Goofy, I know.... I just installed a new fan motor in my 96 silverado. all of a sudden, I can not get the air to come out of my vents... Floor defrost all else work fine. when I switch to vent, all the dampers seem to close and nothing from the dash vents.
I would be so grateful to any suggestions

Sounds like your flapper door is not moving, put your hand on the plenum and try to feel it move. There might be hinge pin that is visible to watch. Do you hear any kind of clicking? Like it is stuck? Or, I had this happen to me, open the relay box on the left wheel housing and tap the relays. I had a sticky one that needed some mechanical agitation. Mike
Did you put fan in backwards?
Problem located!! True coincidence.. The clamp on the linkage arm was broken.....
Does anyone know If parts can be looked up online?
