1997 Safari Van AC problem

My 1997 Safari just decided to not switch between the vents and the defroster/floor. Any tips on where to start.

Thanks

do you have a lever you pull over to select for your vents or is it a button?if its a lever sounds like the cable in the back came off the cable is held onto the lever by a little plastic nub which have been known to break off if its a button check your connection for corrsion or burnt wire eighter way you have to pull out you controll assem.

Vacuum line loose/disconnected on the back of the heater controls. Pretty sure the 97' Astro's have vacuum actuated doors.

Look for your answer here - very frequent problem with Astros.

There is a small black plastic vacuum hose that runs across the front of the intake manifold that often gets brittle due to engine heat and breaks. This hose connects to the left side of the intake manifold and runs under the throttle body to a check valve behind the A/C accumulator.
