I'm tearring down a 454 I pulled from an '86 suburban. The block cast date is '78. The driver side head is '72. The pass side head is '77.
Is this normal?

Reminds me of a Johnny Cash song, It's a 51,52,53,54,55,56 automobile..
Sounds normal for a engine that's been repaired previously.
