using standard size original steel 15 inch wheels or do you think these are too big for these wheels?
Can I mount 245-70-15 tires on 15 inch rims ?

A tire shop can give you the answer.

Depends on what the original steel rims are from. If they are off a VW Beetle those tires are WAY to wide. If they are off of a NASCAR race car those tires are WAY to narrow.
245x70x15 should fit on a 7-8 inch wide rim OK.You know, I actually laughed really loud when I read that. Thanks.
