Could have used a set of JB shorty headers to make his bunghole breathe better maybe??

He did? (have some decent info). I don't remember that, unless you term advising people to park their vehicle on an incline so as to be able to "burp" the air out of their cooling system as decent info...then I suppose so. I forget all of his advice, but most of it was either wrong, or a few pet subjects that he liked to hold forth on.

He was a kook....and the very worst thing about him was his complete inability to admit when he made a mistake or when he was caught in a blatant contradiction. But I do miss him, it was fun sparring with him. He had a particular hate-on for dealership mechanics....so he didn't like me at all. But even on that subject....he flip flopped on.

Google his name on the newsgroups and if you have the time and patience to read up on him, you will see why he's basically been shunned and ignored in many different groups.

I lost my connection on the JB's, but it was fun while it lasted. Now I sell 3-phase converters, which I design and build myself, so I don't have to depend on anyone else. Here's a link to my largest converter... you can check out the smaller ones from there:

I've sold about 400 of them on eBay in the last year. If any of you like the idea of running three phase machinery out of your garage, I'll hook you up. Ask for the Groups That Have Been Trolled by Checkmate Discount.

Hi!

Uh, what was that?

Yeah, I'm still awake but can't post here or even look at the group very often because of work. Not that you care, but I did manage to do something interesting with my old truck recently...

It didn't turn out well and I learned that the cab rusting and then settling may be to blame. Still gotta try some doors at the local junkyard before I give up...if I ever find the time for that!

Damn!

Of course I care. I've been deeply concerned about that for several minutes now.

Damn!

Nothing a 55 gallon drum of Bondo couldn't fix.

Please keep me posted.

Hi!

I know. The group is probably better off for it.

Uh-huh.

Exactly what I said...especially after having the door chew on the fender a little.

I was going to use duct-tape...too bad you always X-no-archive your postings...I could really use a few of them now. They'd probably come in real handy...all those great tips and such.

Don't worry. I won't.

Hi!

I think it means that Google bought the Internet. Actually, assuming you're really asking (which I doubt) it's likely a "welcome back".

That was actually a couple of years ago, but they remember me well. I suppose I should drop by one of these days and pay my respects.
