After several almost five years as a non-aircooled household, we have finally gotten back. We just acquired a 1970 VW Convertible. I found it on Samba and it was just 25 miles away. Go figure. Anyway, this group was always a great place for tips and advice and I'm looking forward to hanging around again.

Is that site still active and being updated? As I recall, weren't you involved in that?
It's our first weekend with the new bug and we changed the oil and adjusted the valves. The memory is coming back (with a little help from John Muir).
