S10/GMC Sonoma heater core problem?

I have a 1998 GMC Sonoma in which both the radio control faceplate and the climate control faceplate of the dashboard is getting hot. Sometimes this problem spreads to the instrument cluster as well. Its doing this most of the time but not every day. Anyone have any thoughts as to what this could be?

Uhhh, it's normal! They always get warm when the vehicle is running. Now if you're talking HOT, like hurts to touch, then that's a different story.
