1999 T&C "suspension" problem?

Hi,

I was hppy with my 1999 T&C minivan until recently. The suspension seems very rough and unflexible. It feels like a chep beat up car when it goes through any uneven holes or while it is turning. The cushion hit so hard that I feel it almost hit the road...

It started to happen after one of the front wheel was hit in an accident, the tire was replaced and some body jobs were done. Dealer reported no structure or steering/wheel damage and insurance company did not pay for any repair on that part.

After I first got the van back from dealer, it does not run as smooth as before but it is still bearable to me at that moment. The van seemed not stopping as sharp as I experienced and I decided/assumed the tires needs to replace. It was done by a local Costco in Fairfax, they screwed up the installation and my van constantly needing pumping air. It totally lost air after one day of my office work. Took it back to them and they reinstall the tires and stopped the leaking but messed up one of the screw connecting the wheel cap. I had to take it to a local Chrysler dealer to replace and get reimbursment.

Now the van is totallly unacceptable--rough, clumsy especially at lower speed. It feels like a 10 years old beat up "truck".

Is there "experienced"/"qualified" in northern Virginia that I should go to? Thank you for your valuable input !

Glenn,

Thank you so much for the info. The Chrysler dealer does say that the bar was not straight and needs replacement. Is it possible that this kind of problem is from an accident I previously had? Is it also a consumable parts after years of usage?
