98 Intrepid, wiper arm removal?

Loading thread data ...

If it is like my 95 Eagle....

  1. Lift up on the arm
  2. Locate a small tab at the base of the arm (where is connects to the transmission assembly). Using a screwdriver, pull out on that tab. Shouldn't require that much force. Let arm back down and it should rest on that tab.
  3. Pull arm off.

If yours isn't like this, dis-regaurd this information.

Hope this helps!

Straight from the FSM: You have to remove the plastic/rubber cap at the center of rotation (pry off carefull with something that won't scratch the metal). It conceals a nut that you of course loosen, and then wiggle the arm off of the shaft.
