I have searched google groups for info and haven't come up with much. I have already tried cycling the engine on-off for 4 times and holding the door lock switch for 8 seconds. None work. Is there a way to enable the automatic door lock at home or do I have to take it to the dealer? If so, how much do they charge?

The option is programmed by injecting a signal with the computer reader/writer tool that dealers have. It takes only a few seconds to make the change. If you're having anything else done to the car while it's in the dealer's shop, they'll generally do it for free.
