Hmmm. 9 years ago, I had a rate of 5.95% for a 15 year mortgage with
7-year term (but that's up here in Canada). And I don't think the bank rate was anywhere near as low then as it is now.Given where US fed bank rate is now, wouldn't you expect mortgage rates to be more in the 4 - 5% range?
