Checked that. I have also noted that the "door ajar" and "airbag" dash warning lights are permanently on.

Checked that. I have also noted that the "door ajar" and "airbag" dash warning lights are permanently on.
Fixed. I think it was a bad contact on one of the door switches. Also, the airbag light was on because I had been pulling fuses out to try to kill the roof light. ;-)
