replacing 2000 intrepid battery cables

Hi,



I bought a 2000 Intrepid. I noticed that the battery cable on the front post is badly corroded.



Is this difficult to clean/change??



Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried cleaning it with baking soda being careful not to get any in the battery.
